Digital Dataworks Ltd is a digital imaging company supplying personal computer based real-image, interactive training packages which provide highly effective, low-cost induction training.
Digital Dataworks is a Scottish company with a multimedia heritage, bringing together talents from film, television, music and computer gaming, underpinned by a solid foundation of traditional and computer science. Founded in 1999 to provide audio and video services to new media producers, Digital Dataworks soon became known for its quality and attention to detail supplying services to record companies, computer games producers, web site designers and sporting events. The rapid emergence of quality digital cameras enabled previous research into the uses of Apple's QuickTime VR to be revisited. Commercial uses of this technology became apparent and led to the development of a new skill set. The interactive nature of immersive images leads naturally to their use in training and Digital Dataworks has emerged as one of the leading proponents of real-image based training systems.
